Delete my data
You can delete your Driver Mentor account and your personal data at any time.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Driver Mentor and go to the My terms tab.
- Scroll down and tap Account and privacy.
- Tap Delete my account, read the message, and confirm.
This deletes your account right away.
If you cannot use the app
Email hello@driver-mentor.com with the subject Delete my Driver Mentor data. In your message, include the mobile phone number you used to sign in so we can find your account and confirm it is yours. We may reply to confirm before we delete. We will delete your data within 30 days.
What is deleted, and what we keep
Deleted: your sign-in, name, phone number, ZIP code, terms, Connect requests, waitlist entries, referral code and referrals. Driver Mentor Sonny chats are kept only on your phone and are erased with the app data.
Kept: a record with no personal details that an account existed (a random number and the dates it was created and deleted), if you were ever paid a referral reward, the payment record we must keep for accounting and tax, a record of each introduction you made with nothing about you in it (which company and job, and the dates of the Connect and any hire), and your anonymous Promise check-in answers.
Already shared: if you tapped Connect on a job, that carrier already received your name, phone number and terms. They hold it under their own policies, and you may need to ask them to delete it.
